The Mission

What are we doing and why?

“We” are two local churches: Hope Baptist of Wake Forest, NC, and Sovereign Redeemer of Youngsville, NC.

By God’s grace, we deployed a family into longterm church planting work in Turkey at the end of 2019, and we have been joined by other churches and families and individuals to support the effort.

Our focus is the proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ and the establishment of one church - and then more churches - which will teach and practice the historic Christian theology represented by the Baptist Confession of 1689.

It is the great privilege of local churches to send the gospel to every tongue, tribe and nation. Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

It has been our prayer for many years that the Lord would raise up church planters from among our churches to engage in this work, longterm, in a place where Christ is not known and loved. We believe this is an answer to those prayers, and we praise the Lord for it.
